Photography is my hobby, not my religion.

Just for fun!

I don’t shoot; I run.

ALTERNATIVE TITLE: Shutter Slacker after the hibernation.

RUNNING. It’s my newest activity.

I only had 9 posts since my announcement of hibernation from photoblogging last May (read it HERE), and most of my photo entries were not even taken by a real camera. Sadly, I’m still not getting my drive back even after the 3-day Coron vacay-slash-photoshoot (here, here, and here).

How’s my photography? What have I been doing in the past couple of months?  (more…)

Coffee break.

DSC_6669I’m not bragging or anything, but i don’t drink coffee unless it’s from Starbucks. One, i don’t really drink coffee. I was already a senior in college when i had my first cup, a Nescafe 3-in-1 with tons of creamer (to mask the “coffee taste”). Two, ever since i tasted Starbucks’ White Chocolate Mocha, i’ve fallen in love with it, i never even think about trying other flavors. Add a Ham and Cheese Croissant on the tray and my breakfast is perfect.

Below’s the cup i ordered just last week. Oh, and pardon the last photo, but as you can see, it was not me who said that—it’s them. *wink*

And this is what a Starbucks interior looks like here in the Philippines… is it any different from yours?

DSC_5402Enjoy your mornings! ^_^

An apple a day.

DSC_4750 That’s not my apple. I dunno whose apple that is. Seriously!

Someone left this lone apple at the table outside of Krispy Kreme. I thought it’s a nice subject, so i sat two tables away and framed my shot amidst curious stares from diners and passers-by. When i finally had the photo, i walked away and left the apple behind as if nothing happened.

Red, tasty-looking apple. Goodbye! ;)

Old McDonald got confused.

I’m taking a break from all that street shooting, but just when i’m really craving for this:

The nearest McDonald’s had this:

Sigh. Did you saw the contradiction? Well, see you at the streets again!^_^

Reliving “Ang Nagoyong Probinsyana”.

Ang Nagoyong Probinsyana (The Fooled Country Girl) is a short comedy photo story of a lady promdi* who got lost in the city and was fooled by two girls pretending to help her. Me and my friends came up with the idea after seeing an empty table with the sign Police Assistance Desk beside it, and thought to cook up a story which would take place on that table.

Follow the arrows for the photos’ correct sequence:

It’s been two months since these photos were taken, but still they make me laugh everytime i look at them. I think the actresses are great, aren’t they? ^_^

*promdi is short for “from the province”; promdi is the first two words “from the” which Filipinos pronounce as “prom di”, hence the term.

Fill in the blanks.

Well, after last post’s seriousness, let’s take a quick breather. I bet you could figure out what this sign means, anyway…

DSC_3737NOTE: Ministop is a convenience store, like 7-11. :-)

Nature’s work of art! :D

DSC_0186

These poop-shaped sand carvings spread across the long stretch of Panglao Beach in Bohol, Philippines when me and my friends went there for a vacation last December 2010. I thought they were made by worms, but a local photography forum told me that the culprit is this one:

Pretty cool, huh! ^_^

Just for fun! :D

My friends’… they’re all looking out the window and i was sorely tempted to snap a photo from the angle i was looking them at. ;p Good job guys!
